Spring is here, and a little ahead of schedule, the smallmouth are showing up in droves in Erie.  Several months ago, I received a request from an old customer asking if I had any of those old, clear flake grubz around. This customer had lived in our area years ago, and that was one of his favorite colors. Since then, he had moved, I believe it was to Connecticut, and he continued to catch fish on that color. He recently moved again to the Carolinas and was running out of that color. With football season coming, his story reminded me of Steeler fans. They love their Steelers, and wherever they move, they take their love of their team with them. We get orders and cool stories from all parts of the country, from people who grew up fishing our grubz. The word spreads kinda like the love of the Steelers.
